Students ecstatic to unwrap boxes filled with school supplies! It's the little things that make the biggest impact. Sponsoring a child only costs $150 USD, and this includes enrollment, basic medical care, school supplies, their uniform, and shoes. Something as simple as putting a short hold on your daily Starbucks run for a month means you could sponsor one child for an entire year!
In September 2015, there were 241 students enrolled at the school I volunteered at, and currently there are over 300! Children deserve the right to an education, a childhood, and every opportunity to succeed in life. Truly, thank you to all the hard-working educators for their support at Southern Cross Academy.
